"They Want to Hide the Body"

This article in SolveClimate, "Did Deepwater Methane Hydrates Cause the BP Gulf Explosion" is enough to scare the daylights out of anyone! These oiligarchs are ruthless in their pursuit of money.
And this article, "Scientists Fault Lack of Studies Over Gulf Oil Spill" in the New York Times is enough to infuriate anyone who isn't being paid off by the oil industry. Our government isn't allowing scientists access to measure the extent and the effects of this monstrous calamity, it's disgusting!!

In response to this video, substanti8 made the following comment - and I couldn't possibly say it any better:

"I pledge allegiance to the barrel
of the capitalist states of America
and to the destruction for which it stands,
still oozing, undeniably,
with flooding and heat waves for all."

  1. It's heartbreaking on a couple of levels, environmental and political. I've lost hope in both. I'm disgusted with life as we are ruled by corporations. Obama's been about as worthless as GWBush. It's a 3AM moment for Obama! What is the government doing?!?!?! Where's the change? Where's the government action?

  2. Dion, it's absolutely preposterous! I can't believe the duplicity of the EPA, the Interior Dept. and the Mineral Management. Although come to think of it, I shouldn't be surprised they are all staffed by strumpets!

  3. The article about methane hydrates is terrifying, and sadly, not suprising. Evil always outdoes itself.
I couldn't believe Katie Couric's response on CBS, after finding out that USCG was now BP's personal police, was to change the subject and ask about all the animals that were dying. You have to be a real idiot not to see through all this bs.

  4. Well just you wait. Once it becomes clear that the Gulf is going to become a biological dead zone for centuries to come - and the economies of coastal Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas are wiped out, along with their property values - someone will finally point to the true cause of all this. I'm betting the majority sentiment - especially among elected officialdom - is going to be god's vengeance for homosexuality and abortion. What else, after all, could it possibly be?

  5. It looks like "corporate government" to me.

  6. It could be "God's Justice" for the failure of Obama and the Democrats to send the "evil Republicans" to prison for torture, lying about the necessity of war, stealing trillions through phony investment devices, stealing several elections, etc.
