The beetles are spreading in places where it never had harsh winter temps. CC is not the reason beetles spread the fungus that kills the trees. All vegetation has lost natural immunity to pathogens because it is weakened from absorbing air pollution. Background tropospheric ozone is rising around the world, and that is the underlying forests are in decline globabally.
