But to go down the rabbit's hole and discover that the so-called good guys are basically a cruel joke, well, I know that really hurts!Gail Zawackihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800944469843206253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5549306427964459740.post-86793820695937886602013-02-27T17:19:22.964-05:002013-02-27T17:19:22.964-05:00Hi Gail:

The second, larger, organization pulled the same crap - but i just ended the call with the statement that i was confused and disappointed and hung up.

TomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5549306427964459740.post-79040029589616176042013-02-26T09:11:02.812-05:002013-02-26T09:11:02.812-05:00Also this, first thing - it's too early in the...Also this, first thing - it's too early in the morning, aauugghhh!

http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/climate/Diminished_Forests_Potter.html

Another day, another blog post...it never stops.Gail Zawackihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800944469843206253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5549306427964459740.post-80290922761400859042013-02-26T07:08:26.553-05:002013-02-26T07:08:26.553-05:00Thank you for those links Amanda!!Thank you for those links Amanda!!Gail Zawackihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800944469843206253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5549306427964459740.post-12414719680483754382013-02-25T19:51:16.630-05:002013-02-25T19:51:16.630-05:00PS-This AP article just showed up on my local pape...PS-This AP article just showed up on my local paper's website.

http://www.pressherald.com/news/UNH-foresters-observe-needle-loss-on-New-England-pines.htmlamandanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5549306427964459740.post-29147423966087287972013-02-25T19:36:38.958-05:002013-02-25T19:36:38.958-05:00Great images...

My conclusion, based on readings and my own experiences as a human and living a fairly simple lifestyle, is that we've passed the point of no return.

"Progress" is currently defined as developing the "middle class" so that consumers can keep on consuming. The economy demands it, people demand it because they want "stuff", and the more the merrier. No one wants to give up anything.

We're not going to change that mindset. The next 50 yrs may not be worth living through.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
